Teller Committee
The Teller Committee meets when there is a need for a vote count in the LCMC Board Room
The Teller Committee plays a vital role in upholding the integrity and transparency of the Lake Cushman Maintenance Company's election process. Comprised of impartial volunteers, the committee is responsible for receiving, verifying, and counting ballots during annual elections and other member votes. Their work ensures that all voting procedures are conducted fairly, securely, and in accordance with established bylaws.
Members of the Teller Committee are committed to confidentiality, accuracy, and impartiality. By serving in this capacity, they help maintain trust in our community’s governance and support the democratic process that guides our shared future.

A teller is a person who counts the votes in an election, vote, referendum or poll. Tellers are also known as scrutineers, poll-watchers, challengers or checkers.
They should be distinguished from polling agents and counting agents who officially represent candidates.
